The Students Board is meeting in La Rochelle Université this week to talk about their vision of our #europeanuniversity. Through workshops and brainstormings, they will reflect on various topics such as the academic offers, the equality & sustainability plans, the students life, and much more. Together, they will set their expectations and draw their vision for the future of EU-CONEXUS and its students.

As Jean-Marc Ogier, President of EU-COENXUS, & Isabella Baer-Eiselt, Executive Director of EU-CONEXUS, mentionned "You represent the 70000 students of EU-CONEXUS. Your role is key in the development of EU-CONEXUS to give students the best studying experience we can. We need you to tell us your needs: the students' needs, so we can improve accordingly."

Angeliki, with her #social and #entrepreneur winning project 🏆 from #Greece 🇬🇷 ‘Marine Algae Polysiphonia sp. Organic Harvesting and Farming’ has done her mobility training in #Valencia 🇪🇸 las week, with the mentorship of Francisco Soriano and Jorge Juan Vicedo, teachers at the UCV

The project aims to protect the 🌱 algae Polysiphonia, very popular in the island of #Crete. The uncontrollable harvesting is threatening its populations, and it's becoming rare to find. #Marinealgae play a key role in controlling marine ecosystem. Angeliki drafted a startup where harvesting is controllable and according to EU regulations of organic products, and then processed carefully and distributed among local restaurants.

#EUCONEXUS opens up opportunities for smart urban coastal sustainability, we foster and encourage this brilliant mind to keep pursuing her goal.

Joint Master Programme in Marine Biotechnology has entered into the list of ERASMUS MUNDUS master’s degrees, highlighting joint training and offering funding for highly competitive scholarships.

For the next academic year, 2️⃣0️⃣ scholarships have been awarded, over more than 100 applications from around the world. Among those selected (Japan, Philippines, Brazil, etc), a student from the UCV has won the scholarship, Álvaro González Cid.

In this sense, the research project cluster “Ocean Technology Campus” (OTC) is being created by the @unirostock . 🧪🧫🔬 This future international centre for underwater technology aims to gather numerous research institutes and many partners from society and industry to reconcile ecological and economic aspects of the use of marine resources by fostering the development of innovative maritime technologies and applications. The #CrossofChange dedicated to raising awareness on #climatechange, organized by #UTCB in partnership with EU-CONEXUS successfully ended! 🌳🌍

A clear evidence of #activeinvolvement and of the desire to contribute, the cross managed to bring together people from all walks of life who wanted to take a first step towards the #sustainablefuture we all want.

The most important elements of the cross such as the start gate, T-shirts, medals and awards were made from recycled and reusable materials.
At its 1st edition, the #CrossofChange is a groundbreaking event that contributes significantly to promoting #sustainability and addressing #climateissues.

🎒🍃 #EUCONEXUS School Contest winners in the category 12-14 were students from Greece, with their project of a Smart Mall using sustainable and biodegradable materials, including smart spots to recharge electric cars, sensors for carbon dioxide levels, and automation.

With the main theme “Sustainable Solutions for Energy and Environment,” the conference will take place between 17-21 of October in Bucharest 🇷🇴 and will cover the diverse disciplines of Energy and Environment from present to future.
