🌊 The first solo exhibition of the young Zadar artist Zvonimira Karavida was opened at the Museum of Ancient Glass with a lecture by a scientist from the University of Zadar, Bruna Petani, about the sad fate of pen shell Pinna nobilis that are dying out across the Mediterranean.

Thus, in front of a full small exhibition hall, science and art were merged with the intention of sensitizing the public about the extinction of this Mediterranean endemic shellfish. 🐚🐠 #sustainability #mediterranean #extinction #coastal #shellfish #exibition #EUCONEXUS #EuropeanUniversities

🚴 On the way to the “cyclists” beach you can find tables, stop by them for a #picnic or a short rest.

However, Klaipeda's beaches are friendly not only to lovers of quiet recreation, but also to enthusiasts of active #leisure. 2 of the beaches even boast a world-recognized and recognized quality mark - the "Blue Flag". 🏖

To earn such status, the beach must meet as many as 27 requirements. This proves that Klaipeda beaches are #safe, #clean and have a good infrastructure adapted to everyone's needs.

🏖 This free app for Android and iOS devices incorporates a new section in which you can learn in real time the status of the beaches with updated information on the state of the sea or water quality, #accessibility to them, #health regulations of the fight against COVID-19 as well as access to public toilets. 👉 https://bit.ly/2CKkgD5

📱 It also provides #citizens and #tourists information to find nearby services, consult bus and metro/tram itineraries, stops and flow, and lets them set alerts and notifications to keep them informed of all relevant news.
