UTCB Scientific Seminar

Our EU-CONEXUS Community can now participate at the Scientific Seminar organized by Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, and hosted by the Faculty of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Buildings, on 10th of January, Wednesday, between 10 AM – 12 PM CET Time.

This event is organized with the support of the EU-CONEXUS Call for External Experts and we are delighted to have as guests Philippe POULLAIN from Nantes Université, Centrale Nantes, CNRS, GeM – Research Institute in Civil and Mechanical Engineering , INGVER – Green Engineering Approaches and Stephanie BONNET Nantes Université, Centrale Nantes, CNRS, GeM – Research Institute in Civil and Mechanical Engineering, INGVER – Green Engineering Approaches, DuCoS – Sustainability and Eco-Design of Structures Platform.

The keynote speakers will address the topics of low environmental impact construction materials and large-scale 3D printing. By sharing different experiences, participants will learn more about current trends related to the development on new eco-friendly materials and improvement of previous developed ones, as well as the possibilities offered by the usage of 3D printing in the building sector.

We hope the event will encourage other colleagues as well to use this annual call in order to invite researchers and experts from institutions outside the EU-CONEXUS Alliance to events organized by our Alliance with the scope of extending our network, enhancing the competencies of our research community in SmUCS topics and offering research-related teaching content to students.
