UTCB Students are making unpaid deliveries of essential supplies to help the elderly and vulnerable
Students from Bucharest’s Association of Civil Engineering Students,
ASCB, have been making unpaid deliveries of food and other basic
goods to elderly people inRomanian cities as part of efforts to keep
the most vulnerable safe from the coronavirus.
The solidarity initiative was launched by the ASCB after students
noticed more than one month ago that many elderly people were still
going to shops and supermarkets despite the authorities’
recommendations that they avoid crowded places and stay at home.
