Description:
This micro-credential highlights spatial planningโs vital role in sustainable coastal development, addressing challenges like overdevelopment and climate change impacts. It will cultivate your skills in coastal plan appraisal, risk evaluation, and resilience strategies. Combining theoretical insights with practical workshops, participants will develop technical expertise alongside transferable skills such as critical thinking and creativity. Emphasising proactive, long-term planning, the course illustrates how effective spatial strategies underpin economic, social, and environmental sustainability, overcoming obstacles to resilient coastal growth.
