Workshop 1 : Infrastructure for Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation & Mitigation of Global Climate Change, in Costal Environments.
Focus on funding related to mitigating the impacts of climate change and natural disasters, protecting lives, properties and ecosystems and in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning to renewable energy sources, improving energy efficiency, and reducing deforestation.
Workshop 2 : Sustainable Coastal Waste Management and Protecting Oceans, Seas and Waters.
Focus on funding related to developing integrated, circular, and environmentally responsible systems for managing coastal, marine, industrial, and agricultural waste and conserving and restoring ecosystems, preventing species loss, and mitigating the impacts of climate change on biodiversity.
Workshop 3 : Sustainable Disease Management and Ensuring Healthy Food and Soil.
Focus on funding related to developing innovative and sustainable solutions for detecting, preventing, and managing diseases affecting humans, animals, and plants and conserving and increasing soil organic carbon stocks, increasing the reuse of urban soils, reducing soil pollution and enhancing restoration and reducing the EU global footprint on soils.
