EU-CONEXUS Enables unveils a brand-new project showcase video — a modern production that reflects the project’s innovative spirit and vision. By showcasing the initiative that supports young researchers, fosters digital innovation, and strengthens knowledge transfer across Europe, EU-CONEXUS Enables highlights its commitment to future-oriented solutions and collaboration.

The video follows a clear and engaging storytelling approach, built around three digital avatars who guide the narrative: Bogdan Gheorghe, EU-CONEXUS Enables Project Manager (Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest), Eva Roberts, Project Coordinator at South East Technological University, and Professor Zvjezdan Penezić, Vice-Rector for Science and Information Infrastructure at the University of Zadar — together representing the unity and shared commitment of EU-CONEXUS partners across Europe.

Five digital twins at the heart of the video

At the centre of the storyline are five digital twin models, developed during the project timeline and presented as key pillars of EU-CONEXUS Enables’ work.

Each digital twin represents a concrete research direction supporting sustainability, innovation, and the future of Europe’s coastal regions:

  • Sustainable Coastal Futures – integrating digital twin technology to protect and optimise coastal infrastructure
  • Algae-Powered Agriculture – using nature’s potential to boost crop resilience through biotechnology and digital insight
  • Hiking 4.0 Sustainability – blending digital innovation with nature to make outdoor experiences sustainable and data-driven
  • Green Maritime Engines – advancing cleaner, smarter shipping through digital simulation and alternative fuels
  • Bio-Inspired Efficiency – drawing inspiration from nature to revolutionise sustainable structural design

Together, these five digital twins demonstrate how EU-CONEXUS Enables translates research excellence into practical digital tools and solutions, while responding directly to stakeholder needs.
