First Exhibition on the Extinction of Species in Zadar
The first exhibition “Glass pen shell” by Zadar artist Zvonimira Karavida was held with an expert lecture on the extinction of the species
The first solo exhibition of the young Zadar artist Zvonimira Karavida was opened at the Museum of Ancient Glass with a lecture by a scientist from the University of Zadar, Bruna Petani, about the sad fate of pen shell Pinna nobilis that are dying out across the Mediterranean.
Thus, in front of a full small exhibition hall, science and art were merged with the intention of sensitizing the public about the extinction of this Mediterranean endemic shellfish.
