𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 & 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 & 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 🤩 As part of the EU-CONEXUS Conference 2026, the 𝗘𝗨-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 ❞𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 & 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻❞ brought together 𝟮𝟯 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗘𝗨-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗦 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 to tackle a unique challenge: designing innovative digital solutions that help 15-year-old students learn about agriculture and biotechnology in an engaging and accessible way. Over three days, seven international teams transformed complex scientific concepts into games, applications, simulations and interactive learning experiences. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀: 🏆 Chashki I Khushki (SETU) – 1st Prize 🥈 MNM (SETU) – 2nd Prize 🥉 SynthoRithm (AUA) – 3rd Prize The Hackathon was coordinated by 𝗗𝗿 𝗔𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶 (AUA), with mentoring provided by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀 (AUA), 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀 and 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗢❜𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗱 (SETU). Project evaluation was carried out by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘃𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗼𝘂 and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗣. 𝗩𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀 from AUA, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀 and 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗢❜𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗱 from SETU, and 𝗠𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿 from UROS. The awards were presented by 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗡𝗮̆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗲 (UTCB), Project Manager of the EU-CONEXUS ENABLES project. One week after the 𝗘𝗨-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we One week after the 𝗘𝗨-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we look back on three inspiring days of scientific exchange, collaboration and innovation hosted by the @agricultural_university_athens 👌 From 10–12 June, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟬 researchers, academics, students and professionals from across Europe came together in Athens to discuss 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆, 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. Through keynote lectures, scientific presentations, poster sessions, workshops and networking activities, participants explored innovative approaches to some of today’s most pressing societal and environmental challenges. 💪 A special highlight was the 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆-𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, who contributed to the scientific dialogue through more than 100 poster presentations. We would like to thank all speakers, participants, partners, exhibitors and volunteers who contributed to the success of the conference.
