๐ŸŒฑ Last week, @universidadcatolicavalencia proudly ๐ŸŒฑ Last week, @universidadcatolicavalencia proudly hosted the second and final phase of the AlgaeQuest Student Project, an initiative funded by EU-CONEXUS This programme brought together 60 participants from 9 different European universities, fostering collaboration, innovation, and shared learning across Europe. ๐Ÿ“Œ Project Highlights: ๐ŸŒ Global Reach: 60 participants from 9 different European universities took part in the project. ๐Ÿ’ป Virtual Phase: Sessions were conducted on the biology of algae, their environmental challenges, and their biotechnological potential. ๐Ÿงช Mobility in Valencia: UCV welcomed the top performers for a hands-on laboratory experience, where students explored chlorophyll extraction and the recovery of high-value antioxidants from macroalgae. ๐ŸŽŠ Celebrating the Winners of the 6th EU-CONEXUS Sc ๐ŸŽŠ Celebrating the Winners of the 6th EU-CONEXUS School Contest โ€“ Think Smart, Create Green! ๐ŸŽŠ We are delighted to announce and celebrate the winners of this yearโ€™s EU-CONEXUS School Contest โ€“ Think Smart, Create Green!, an initiative that empowers young minds to explore innovative, sustainable solutions aligned with the challenges of our coastal and urban environments. By encouraging creativity, interdisciplinary thinking, and environmental responsibility, the competition continues to foster the next generation of engaged and forward-thinking citizens. This year, across our alliance of universities, we were proud to welcome 243 registered teams. We are truly grateful to all participants for choosing to be part of this initiative and for the trust they have placed in our programme. The overall quality, creativity, and scientific engagement demonstrated by the teams were remarkable and made us genuinely proud. The jury, composed of representatives of the EU-CONEXUS University to School Programme together with a member of the EU-CONEXUS Student Board, had the challenging task of selecting the winners from an outstanding pool of projects.
