Outdoor Activities: Safety, Values and Inclusion
This SRH project functions as a field laboratory for mastering applied research methodologies. It emerged as a fundamental initiative for the holistic development of young people in today’s society. It aims to go beyond mere leisure, using nature as a living classroom to inculcate essential values such as inclusion, respect, and responsibility.
Therefore, the theme will focus on three areas: SAFETY, VALUES, AND INCLUSION. Specifically, the following activities will be covered: climbing, via ferrata, water sports, first aid, rope work, orienteering, inclusion activities, and managing the right risks.
This approach equips students with the technical rigour to analyse human behaviour, environmental ethics, and safety protocols through a professional academic lens, turning nature into a source of measurable data.
General learning outcomes
To provide students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to design research results-based outdoor experiences, while fostering a deep appreciation for safety, inclusion, and sustainable practices.
