Long-term effect of phosphorus management on soil fertility and Soil P pools / Call 2025

Join us for a comprehensive 30-day research practice designed for students interested in agronomy, environmental science, and soil management. This hands-on practice will focus on the critical role of phosphorus on soil fertility and explore the long-term effects of various phosphorus management strategies. Through a blend of laboratory work and interactive sessions, the participants will explore the fundamentals of soil science with a focus on phosphorus dynamics in soil ecosystems.  

General learning outcomes

  • Understanding of the effect of long-term fertilisation management on soil characteristics 
  • Improved skills for literature search and management 
  • Improved skills for data analysis and visualisation 
  • Understanding of master laboratory approaches to measuring soil phosphorus content 
  • Improved scientific writing and presentation skills

Through a poster presentation, EU-CONEXUS showcased its commitment to supporting PhD candidates and early-stage researchers by promoting excellence in doctoral training, international collaboration and research opportunities across Europe. EU-CONEXUS is moving towards a new stage with Leve EU-CONEXUS is moving towards a new stage with LevelUP! 🥳 The EU-CONEXUS LevelUP project has successfully passed the evaluation stage and has been invited to proceed to Grant Agreement Preparation. This marks an important step for our Alliance as a European University focused on Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability. Building on what has already been achieved, this new stage will help us further consolidate our joint structures, strengthen cooperation between partner universities and make European university collaboration more tangible for students, staff, institutions and society. For our community, LevelUP means: 🌊 more opportunities for students to study and connect internationally; 🤝 deeper cooperation between academic and administrative staff; 🏛 stronger collaboration between partner institutions; 🌍 closer engagement with regional ecosystems and coastal communities.
