🌊 Another Successful Year for Underwater Archae 🌊 Another Successful Year for Underwater Archaeology Minors! Two groups of students from the EU-CONEXUS alliance have successfully completed the Minor course “Introduction to Underwater Archaeology” at the @university.of.zadar . Following in the footsteps of last year’s successful program, these students also participated in archaeological fieldwork on the island of Pag (Caska). 🏝️ Under the expert guidance of Associate Professor Irena Radić Rossi, from the Department of Archaeology, students engaged in both underwater 🤿 and above-ground research. Among them, EU-CONEXUS students actively participated, contributing their unique perspectives and collaborative spirit to this significant event. 🎉 Representing a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise within the EU-CONEXUS alliance, our students joined 230 other participants from 53 European University Alliances and 190 universities across Europe. Together, they tackled challenges facing Europe, engaging in lively debates and collaborative projects. 🗣️💡 The ESA2025 experience underscored the power of collaboration and the importance of youth engagement in shaping European policy. 🌊 Student Research Hub in Valencia 🔬 38 stu 🌊 Student Research Hub in Valencia 🔬 38 students from the Marine Sciences degree at the @universidadcatolicavalencia take part in a Student Research Hub called Multidisciplinary oceanographic research. During practical part, called Oceonographic Week, they took centre stage in a real oceanographic campaign in Calpe. They planned the expedition, collected samples from boats, processed data in the laboratory, and analysed the marine ecosystem. 🧪🐠 🗣 “We are the ones who organised and carried out the entire campaign. We’ve put everything we’ve learned in class into practice,” said one of the students. Beyond the scientific work, they developed key skills such as leadership, teamwork, and project management.
