⛴️ EU-CONEXUS Minor students explore energy tr ⛴️ EU-CONEXUS Minor students explore energy transition in shipping at @klaipedauniversity This week Klaipeda University hosted students of the EU-CONEXUS Minor in “Energy Transition in Shipping: LNG” programme. Throughout the week, participants explored how innovation and sustainability shape the maritime industry — from lectures on energy transition to practical insights during visits to Klaipeda Seaport Authority and KN Energies. 👋 At KN Energies, students were welcomed by Martynas Ambrozaitis, Head of FSRU “Independence” Operations, who introduced the company’s LNG activities and led an insightful tour of the Small-Scale LNG Terminal. The programme, coordinated by Prof. Vytautas Paulauskas (KU), combined academic learning with hands-on experiences and cultural exchange — highlighting how collaboration between universities and industry fosters a more sustainable maritime future. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of excitement as new members of the Frederick University community arrived.
