ODSO Online Workshop on Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)
The EU CONEXUS Office for Development of Study Offers (ODSO) is organising an online workshop for teaching staff focused on Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL).
COIL is a teaching approach that supports international collaboration within existing courses through structured online learning activities. It enables cooperation with international partners without physical mobility and contributes to the integration of intercultural and international perspectives in higher education.
Workshop Structure
The workshop Discover COIL: Fundamentals and Proven Practices is designed as a 90-minute introductory session. It will present the basic principles of COIL, selected examples of good practice, and practical possibilities for implementation in higher education teaching.
Learning Outcomes
After completing the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the core principles of the COIL approach
- Identify opportunities for integrating COIL into their courses
- Design basic online international collaboration activities

Participants who successfully complete the workshop will receive a Certificate of Participation.
