Short description:

The Certificate in Global Agri-food systems invites you to explore sustainability and connectedness across  agri-food systems as well as exploring food security—blending science, production, policy, digital innovation, and practical experience. This Master-level micro-credential equips you with the tools to help transform food systems in times of climate, environmental, and food security challenges.

Overview

Master Level expertise (10 ECTS)

Interdisciplinary training: agri-food production & processing, environmental science, digital technologies, sustainability & policy frameworks

Blended delivery: online evenings + tutorials, plus one full day in-person practical work

Strong career / academic progression pathways – from production and policy to advisory roles; also an opportunity to progress into Postgraduate Diplomas or Master’s in Sustainable Agri-Food Systems

Course delivery – Global Agri-Food Systems (Semester 1):

  • Asynchronous learning: material released online every Wednesday evening (24 Sept – 3 Dec 2025)
  • Live introduction meeting: 24 September 2025
  • Synchronous sessions:

🎓✨ @frederick_university warmly welcomed its 🎓✨ @frederick_university warmly welcomed its first-year students across both the Nicosia and Limassol campuses! The atmosphere was vibrant and full of excitement as new members of the Frederick University community arrived. On October 2nd and 3rd, the University hosted its #OrientationDays, designed to help students settle in and prepare for their academic journey. Classes officially commenced on Monday, October 6th, and what better way to kick things off than with a #FunDay on both campuses! New students had the opportunity to explore the University’s wide range of support services, student clubs, and mobility opportunities.
