Long-term effect of phosphorus management on soil fertility and on soil P pools
Join us for a comprehensive 30-day research praxis designed for students interested in agronomy, environmental science, and soil management. This hands-on praxis will focus on the critical role of phosphorus in soil fertility and explore the long-term effects of various phosphorus management strategies. Through a blend of laboratory work and interactive sessions, participants will understand the fundamentals of soil science with a focus on phosphorus dynamics in soil ecosystems.
General learning outcomes
- Understanding of the effect of long-term fertilization management on soil characteristics
- Improved skills for literature search and management
- Improved skills for data analysis and data visualization
- Understanding and master laboratory approaches to measure soil phosphorus content
