Short description of what will be presented during the seminar:
The seminar will cover the key definitions of the Mediterranean Diet beyond the food pyramid to indicate how cultural practices of the Mediterranean people have shaped a food production and consumption pattern that supports the One Health framework. The Mediterranean Diet will be studied as an example of a planetary diet with high sustainability links beyond the human health benefits, while inviting the participants to think outside the box and embrace the key concepts of the Mediterranean way of living.
