🌍 Welcoming Robertas Jurkus from Klaipeda Universi 🌍 Welcoming Robertas Jurkus from Klaipeda University (KU) to South East Technological University (@setuirland) as part of the 12-month EU-CONEXUS ENABLES postdoctoral mobility project. 🤝 Together with Dr LIZY ABRAHAM at the Emerging Networks Lab, Walton Institute, and under the joint supervision of Assoc. On 12 May 2026, EU-CONEXUS successfully held its 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, highlighting the innovative projects developed by students during the 2025–2026 academic year through the activities 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗯 (𝗦𝗥𝗛) and 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 (𝗢𝗟𝗛). The initiative was coordinated by the @agricultural_university_athens under the leadership of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗶 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼𝘂, Vice-Rector for European University, Internationalisation and Student Affairs, and 𝗗𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘇𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘂, Research Associate at the Department of Animal Science, AUA. 👏 26 undergraduate research projects were presented through the activities 𝗦𝗥𝗛 and 𝗢𝗟𝗛, bringing together students, Leaders, Mentors, academics, and researchers from across the Alliance. Following the evaluation process, 𝟳 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 will have the opportunity to present their work at the upcoming 𝗘𝗨-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in Athens. The student presentations were evaluated by the Scientific Committee comprising 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗸𝗮 (@university.of.zadar ), 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗼𝘀 (@frederick_university ), and 𝗗𝗿 𝗬𝘂𝗲 𝗛𝘂 (@unirostock ).
