Remote sensing methods in estimating Svalbard glacier melting
This seminar presents an evaluation of glaciers surrounding Eidem Lagoon in the Svalbard Archipelago, Norway, in terms of the meltwater flux, for the purpose of gaining understanding and data to be used in a numerical model of the water body. Remote sensing methods and data obtained for evaluating the glaciers in question are reviewed and discussed.
