The “AI in Science Communication” online workshop will provide an overview of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used in science communication. The training introduces key concepts related to AI development and application, with a focus on supporting clear and effective communication of scientific content to different audiences.

The workshop also addresses the opportunities and challenges associated with AI use, including limitations, risks and ethical considerations. Through theory-based content and selected case studies, participants will gain an understanding of the role AI may play in contemporary science communication practices.
Participants attending the workshop will receive one-year access to the “SciComm Compass®” web application, a tool designed to support science communicators in navigating the AI landscape and selecting suitable AI tools for different communication goals.
