EU-CONEXUS actively works with schools to inspire younger generations and raise awareness of Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability.
A flagship initiative is the international school contest “Think Smart, Create Green”, where pupils design creative projects, videos, and business models based on sustainable principles, with the best ideas recognised at both national and international levels.
In addition, partner universities host a wide range of interactive activities for pupils, from quizzes to workshops. These initiatives not only build environmental knowledge but also foster creativity, critical thinking, and responsibility, empowering school communities to help shape a more sustainable future. By involving teachers and local communities, the activities also create a lasting impact that goes beyond the classroom.
In this way, EU-CONEXUS nurtures a culture of sustainability from an early age and encourages young people to see themselves as active contributors to tomorrow’s solutions.
