Over the years, ConstructFEST has become a reference platform for dialogue between academia, industry, public institutions and students, promoting excellence in engineering education, research, sustainability and interdisciplinary collaboration. The anniversary edition of the festival brought together members of the academic community, industry representatives, institutional partners and students in a celebration of performance and future-oriented education.

Within this distinguished framework, UTCB recognised the graduates of the EU-CONEXUS Minor and Microcredential programmes — students who chose to complement their academic training through a European educational pathway founded on interdisciplinarity, international cooperation and innovation.

At UTCB, excellence is understood not only through academic results, but also through intellectual curiosity, initiative and the willingness to engage with educational opportunities beyond the standard curriculum. Participation in EU-CONEXUS programmes reflects precisely these values, encouraging students to develop international perspectives and transversal competencies relevant to the challenges of contemporary society.

The awards were presented by Estefania Brănescu, Minor & Microcredentials Officer at UTCB and herself a graduate of both EU-CONEXUS Minor programmes, highlighting the university’s strong institutional commitment to the European educational experience promoted within the alliance.

The graduates awarded during the ceremony were:

EU-CONEXUS Minor Graduates

  • Alexia-Maria Radu – Faculty of Railways, Roads and Bridges
  • Amalia-Elena Ilie – Faculty of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Constructions
  • Alexandru Paul Di Folco – Faculty of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Constructions

UTCB continues to encourage students enrolled in EU-CONEXUS educational pathways to successfully complete these programmes, as their academic engagement and achievements at European level are recognised and valued within the university community as well.

The university congratulates all graduates for their dedication and performance and extends its appreciation to the entire EU-CONEXUS community for contributing to the development of a truly connected European educational space.
