Organised by the EU CONEXUS Office for Development of Study Offers (ODSO), the workshop was successfully held on January 13, 2026. It showcased the COIL approach as a practical way of integrating international and intercultural collaboration into existing courses without the need for physical mobility.
The session was led by Raquel Blave Gómez, PhD, Professor at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sciences, Catholic University of Valencia (UCV). During the event, she presented the key principles of COIL and shared examples of effective and collaborative online learning activities.
The workshop provided valuable support for teaching innovation and professional development of the participants, encouraging them to continue exploring collaborative online international teaching practices independently.
“The online workshop was extremely useful and very positive. The lecturer was dynamic, clear, and informative, and the content of the workshop was well structured. The idea behind this type of teaching is very good, necessary, and fully feasible, representing an important step in the development of new educational programmes.”
Associate Professor Barbara Vodanović, PhD, Head of the Department of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Zadar.
