Early-career researchers now have additional time to apply for the EU-CONEXUS Enables Collaborative Research Grants, as the application deadline has been extended to 18 January 2026.

This call supports international and interdisciplinary collaboration between early-career researchers from EU-CONEXUS partner universities. Successful applicants will work together on a joint research project, benefiting from a minimum of three months of mobility and dedicated funding to develop and implement their research ideas. Each selected project may receive up to 20,000 EUR in funding.

The call is open to projects addressing key EU-CONEXUS thematic areas, including smart coastal-urban systems, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable coastal regions, with a strong focus on societal impact.

Early-career researchers interested in strengthening their international research profile and building long-term collaborations are encouraged to apply.

All activities are organised under the EU-funded project EU-CONEXUS ENABLES (Project number: 101136822), titled ‘Promoting Excellence Through Innovative Eco-systems‘.
