CoReS is more than a journal — it is a scientific platform built by a consortium of European universities to advance research in sustainability, energy efficiency, coastal resilience, and related interdisciplinary fields. Featuring in CoReS is an opportunity to contribute to a shared vision of open science aligned with the European Union’s principles for greater transparency, accessibility, and societal impact of research.

CoReS was launched within the EU-CONEXUS Alliance and in the framework of the EU-CONEXUS ENABLES project. It is developed in collaboration with a consortium of European universities, including the University of Zadar (Croatia), Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (Romania), Frederick University (Cyprus), Agricultural University of Athens (Greece), Klaipeda University (Lithuania), La Rochelle Université (France), South East Technological University (Ireland), Catholic University of Valencia (Spain), and the University of Rostock (Germany).

This journal primarily addresses researchers and academic staff from partner universities noted above but also welcomes relevant contributions from all interested researchers, academics, and research groups outside the consortium. Submission of high-quality original articles is encouraged, and researchers from all over the world are invited to contribute as reviewers, fostering a robust and collaborative scientific community. The journal also invites early-career researchers, PhD students, and recent graduates from all fields relevant to the journal to submit their theses or pilot studies.

Published pieces will reflect different subject areas, research themes, and disciplines covered by the scope of CoReS. In order to ensure quality content, each thematic section will be covered by assigned editors with relevant expertise.
