In a recent study, our colleagues from @klaipedauniversity and the Lithuanian Sea Museum explored dolphin-assisted therapy (DAT) for adults with depression — with a unique twist: they also monitored the well-being of the dolphins themselves. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 ? 📉 Reduced anxiety and depression 💪 Improved physical and social health 🐬 Happy, healthy dolphins (yes, really!) @frederick_university recently hosted academic sta @frederick_university recently hosted academic staff members from EU-CONEXUS partner universities for a three-day training session on Digital Pedagogies, Technology, and Literacy, offered by the EU-CONEXUS Teaching Academy 🌍💡. Designed specifically for faculty within the EU-CONEXUS alliance, this hands-on training provided participants with the knowledge and tools to understand and apply emerging technologies and innovative pedagogical approaches in higher education. Attendees left equipped with the skills and insights to integrate these technologies into their teaching practices effectively, efficiently, and ethically. The training was designed, developed, and delivered by Frederick University’s Centre for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching (CIET).
