This micro-credential examines worldwide energy consumption, with a particular focus on Europe, and explores the European Union’s strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen energy security. Through examples from different countries, you’ll compare energy strategies, explore the potential and costs of major renewable energy sources, and consider their role in tackling climate change. Develop critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills while gaining the knowledge to understand energy policies and contribute to the global energy transition.
