On Thursday, March 20, the national final of the 𝗘𝗨-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗦 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 ❞𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻❞ took place at @univlarochelle , bringing together middle and high school students committed to building a more sustainable future.

🏆 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀:
🔹 12-14 age category: 4niture_4nature from Collège Marcel Pagnol – Tonnay-Boutonne (Erin, Giulia, Nora, and Athénaïs) with their project Bird Feeders, promoting biodiversity.
🔹 14-17 age category: Wave Makers from Lycée Jean Dautet (Mahé, Bérénice, and Flavie) with their innovative solution A biodegradable manhole cover filter to protect the sea, aimed at ocean preservation.

👏 𝗔 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 for their dedication and creativity in this European competition focused on sustainable innovation. A special thanks to our jury members for their expertise and support:

🌍 The national phase of the EU-CONEXUS “Think Smart, Create Green” School Contest has come to an exciting close in Spain! 🌱♻️

This prestigious international competition inspires students to develop innovative solutions for the sustainable development of coastal areas, addressing environmental challenges caused by urbanisation and industrialisation. 🏗️⚠️

In Spain, the national phase was hosted at @universidadcatolicavalencia , where teams showcased their projects at @magisterioucv . Each team had 10 minutes to present their ideas to the national jury. 🎤💡🎨

👏 A huge congratulations to all Spanish participants from @colegiosorolla , @iespolitecnic_cs , and @newtoncollege for their incredible dedication, creativity, and public speaking skills!

🏆 @newtoncollege emerged as the national champion in both age categories (12-14 and 14-17), securing their spot in the international final, which will take place online on 10 April.
