🤗 More than 9,000 young people took part in “ 🤗 More than 9,000 young people took part in “Your Career: Choose and Act”, the largest career event in Western Lithuania, organised by @klaipedauniversity . During the event, EU-CONEXUS presented study and mobility opportunities available through the European University alliance that connects coastal cities and universities across Europe. 🇪🇺 The EU-CONEXUS Career Centre was also introduced as a platform supporting students’ professional growth and international employability. @utcbro and EU-CONEXUS once again took part in #Eu @utcbro and EU-CONEXUS once again took part in #EuropeanResearchersNight2025, one of the most anticipated science events in Bucharest, Romania. 🧐 European Researchers' Night is part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and aims to show the general public what it means to be a researcher and how exciting research work can be. The event makes science accessible to all by combining education and entertainment through exhibitions, hands-on experiments, talks, games, and competitions. 💡 UTCB showcased three interactive exhibits that blended research, creativity, and practical applicability: ➡️ UTCB Model – Seismic Design Competition 2025 (Seattle) A multi-storey balsa-wood building designed to withstand earthquakes and tested on a shaking table—evidence of the professionalism of our future engineers. ➡️ Smart House An AI- and IoT-based smart-home system demonstrating functions such as automatic lighting, automated window closing in case of rain, and fire detection, enhancing comfort and safety. ➡️ The Mathematical Dodecagon A geometric puzzle illustrating, in an accessible way, the connection between a 12-sided polygon and the number π. ➡️ EU-CONEXUS goodies and School Contest Think Smart, Create Brochure UTCB representatives were delighted to discuss with the teachers and pupils about the European framework of our university, as an EU-CONEXUS member since 2019 and to give away branded goodies and our School Contest Think Smart, Create Green brochure for the 2025-2026 academic year. 👏We thank our colleagues who represented UTCB for their energy, dedication, and commitment to making science accessible to the public.
